Background
Duncan is a trial lawyer and problem solver.
Immediately prior to forming Reeder McCreary, LLP, Duncan served as outside counsel for multiple new car dealerships and high net worth individuals for whom he provided aggressive courtroom representation as well as advice and counsel. Throughout the years, Duncan has consistently solved complex problems with creative solutions.
Duncan has significant courtroom experience which includes both jury and court trials, administrative hearings, as well as arbitrations. He has obtained excellent results in the courtroom throughout his career by quickly understanding the interplay between the facts, the law and people involved in the legal matter. Duncan's areas of practice include a variety of industries including new car dealerships, real estate, franchises, entertainment, sports, and finance. The types of cases Duncan has litigated are as varied as the industries he has represented, including partnership disputes, franchise litigation, employment matters (representing both executives and companies), PAGA matters, consumer disputes, corporate governance, and white-collar crime.
Duncan was raised in Orange County, California and is a huge Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Angels, and Lakers fan.

- Successfully defended top NASCAR driver in partnership dispute ultimately forcing the adverse partner to dismiss the lawsuit in its entirety.
- Obtained defense jury verdict in a Consumer Legal Remedies Act matter wherein the plaintiff alleged that the car dealership had violated the Vehicle Code.
- Successfully defended nine (9) car dealerships in PAGA matter which included corporate successor-in-interest allegations.
- Successfully defended new car dealership in easement dispute against major healthcare provider in Southern California.
- Successfully represented real estate development company in parking rights dispute.
- Successfully defended healthcare corporation and its members against breach of fiduciary allegations.
- Successfully represented car dealership against Department of Motor Vehicles in administrative hearing relating to various vehicle code violations.
- Prosecuted security technology company for breach of contract and fraud allegations due a malfunctioning technology which resulted in a loss of dealer inventory.
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of large public entity in a sexual harassment and national origin lawsuit.
- Successfully enforced judgment for real estate developer against organization who had improperly impinged on client's property rights.

- Provided advice and counsel for five (5) car dealerships on myriad of issues ranging from employment investigations, consumer disputes, employee counseling, document retention protocols and vendor negotiations.
- Reviewed and advised top Orange County car dealer on employment issues during acquisition of new dealership.
